What Is The Aid And
Attendance Benefit?

Overlooked by many families with veterans or surviving spouses, this important benefit is available to those seeking assistance for the care of ailing family members. This program, which is not dependent upon service-related injuries for compensation, can help pay for care in the home, nursing home, or other assisted living facility.

Do You Qualify?

If you are over age 65, served in any capacity during WWII, the Korean conflict or during the Vietnam era, you could qualify for this benefit. The process can take several months to be approved, but once it is approved the payments are retro-active back to the date that the Veterans Administration records the receipt of the application.

Imagine having an extra $1094 to $2019 each month for the rest of your life. The benefit is available for those who qualify and we will help you with the application absolutely FREE OF CHARGE. Complete the Preliminary Qualification Form and we will calculate your ability to qualify and contact you with our recommendations or Call (877)824-8194 (toll free) for more information and initial requirements.

We Are Here To Help

Local area representatives with Veteran's Advocates present educational seminars the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month in our regional offices. Seating is limited so pre-registration is required. Call (877)824-8194 (toll free) to schedule and get the address of the location nearest you.

At the seminar you will learn:

  • About Requirements Needed To Qualify
  • Which Documents You Need To Submit For Approval
  • The Formula Used To Determine Income Limits
  • What Assets You Own Are Deemed "Countable" By The Veterans Administration
  • What Value Your Estate Can Maintain In Order To Qualify
  • How To Submit Your Application

After the seminar there will be time for questions and you will be offered the opportunity to schedule an individual meeting with one of our Veteran's Advocates representatives. It is our goal to help each applicant submit a successful claim to the Veterans Administration for YOUR SHARE of the Aid and Attendance pension. Although we will not personally fill out and submit your application, we will review it and recommend changes when needed.

We prefer working with our referral partners if there are any investment changes or trusts needed in order to qualify. These individuals are licensed in their respective fields and qualified in the area of estate planning.

If you have authorized someone to represent you or have a Power of Attorney that helps with your financial decisions please have that person attend the seminar. We are here to help. Call (877)824-8194 (toll free) today to schedule a seminar near you.

See What Our Clients Have To Say...

"I just want to express my sincere gratitude for the advice I received from Veterans Advocates.  Without  your help I would never have known all of the benefits my father is entitled to, nor could I have navigated the sea of paperwork required by the VA.  In my opinion, every veteran, from WWII to our current vets coming home, should be assigned an advocate to help them obtain what they rightly deserve."

"Thank you for helping me obtain the proper channels and forms to complete for my dad (who is a WWII POW) to receive the recognition and pension he has earned, and has long since been overdue.  I would encourage anyone with military experience during a war era to contact Veterans Advocates to see what is available for them.  They work for free to help those that have paid with more than money."

Erin S. - Branson, Mo.

"Steve Ellegood of Veterans Advocates worked with me for approximately a year to obtain a pension from the Veterans Administration. Steve was incredibly helpful with the paperwork required and knowledgeable as to what benefits I was entitled to. My claim was awarded which has enabled me to become financially stable.  Thank you!"
